AMA / District 14 membership

For motocross In order to race at an AMA district 14 sanctioned track in Michigan you need to become a member of the AMA AND district 14, you need to join the AMA 1st in order to join district 14. Here are the links to join them along with pricing. They will assign you a membership # that will appear on the front of the card and the last 3 digits is what you use for your race # if you choose to. You can put any # on your bike that you want really but it seems like every time I showed up for a race someone had the same # idea that I had, if you use your AMA # then you have the rights to it and they will have to alter or change theirs.
